I always put a tiny bit of vaseline on first to create a smooth base. apply lippy, blot with tissue and reapply - this helps it last a longer.

firstly gently exfoliate your cracked lips with a toothbrush so they are really smooth, then apply lip balm smothered all over lips %26amp; then wipe the excess lip balm off and apply a coat of lippy and keep applying all night.
Do start your day by drinking a glass of plain water first. Then put on your lip balm and glide your lipstick on. This will allow your lipstick to last longer throughout the day too.

DONT cake it on/over apply
put a thin line of lipstick in the center of your lip(start aith the bottom)
rub it in with your finger.
repeat for the top
finish off with lip gloss
and mousturize your lips (wear vaseline on them over night and they will be perfect by morning!)

But, last month, for the first time I tried Dior addict lipstick, wow, what a difference, it is creamy and felt so great on my lips. When I got home, I threw out all my drugstore brand makeups. For dry lips, dior addict lipstick is a really great choice, but it is not long lasting though.

We put on more and more balm until we look like we've been eating Crisco straight from the can! Oddly enough, we keep buying the stuff! Go figure.
Someone else on here recommended the Lip Primer by Mary Kay, and while it's a great base for your lipstick, I'd also recommend the Satin Lips Set by Mary Kay. The Lip Mask gently exfoliates the dead skin from the surface of your lips and the Lip Balm is the only one I know of that doesn't contain salicylic acid! I'm sure there may be one or two others, but I couldn't tell you what they are.
So here's what you do:

If I had to talk color I would say that a color that is 2 or 3 shades deeper than your natural lip color with a glossy finish. Darker colors will draw attention to your mouth but not necessarily make them look bigger--think about an older woman with thin lips wearing dark pink lipstick...you look at her mouth but the lips still look thin. The shade is called Black Orchid, but I can't remember which company made/makes it. A lot of people think it's black at first glance, but when it's seen up close, there is a lot of some other color, like a dark red or a purple, or both. I use Labello Strawberry, it gives you a beautiful hint of colour, but doesn't look like you're wearing a lipstik or a lipgloss. I love it!

oh A LOT of ways, rip all the skin off, pinch them, rub them, eat red fruits (or kool aid), or you could just use TINTED lip gloss......
Carry around strawberry blow pops. Seriously. I do it. They taste good and give you're lips a bit of a stain.
If you kinda suck on them for a while, they'll get a lil' bit more pink.

I have used lip liner all over my lips in the past, just make sure it matches your lipstick perfectly so you can't see it underneath. Now it put a very light coat of foundation , whether I am using liquid or mineral, and it seems to help. Other than that, I just have to touch up after about 6 hrs or so.Best way to make lipstick long lasting? Even lip liner as lipstick?

then i put a coat of shiny gloss over it.

yes you can but when you will put that on your eye you will feel something sticky and heavy on your eye and there is no medical problems if the lipstick gets into your eyes and one other thing if you put lipstick on your eyes it will started to get melt whenever its hot so you sure don't wanna do that but ofcourse you can put lipstick on your eyes if the weather is good i hope i helped :)

Small container (recycle old makeup containers or 35mm film containers, or look in stores that carry beads, crafts, or fishing tackle)
Instructions:
Grate some paraffin wax onto wax paper. Measure 1/4 teaspoon grated wax into the plastic bag. Add 1 teaspoon coconut oil, 1 teaspoon petroleum jelly, and 1 candy melt. Add 1/8 teaspoon oil-based candy flavoring if you like.
Seal the bag and carefully put it in a bowl of hot tap water to melt ingredients, about 3-5 minutes.
(Use tap water! Never use a microwave or stove to heat the water).
Once all the ingredients are melted, remove the bag from the water. Squish ingredients around in bag to mix; work quickly! Clip off a tiny corner of the bag and squeeze gloss into the clean container. Let it set for an hour, or put it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
There you go! Use a cotton swab instead of your finger to apply gloss. Your lip-gloss should last a long time. If it changes color, odor, or texture, though, throw it away.

Put the ingredients from Phase I into a small pan over very low heat. Be sure to pulverize the iron oxide, mica powder, D%26amp;C color and/ or Lip Tints before adding them to the pot. Stir well. Add the ingredients from Phase II and heat until the mixture reaches 170掳 or until fully melted. Remove from heat then add the ingredients from Phase III and pour into lipstick tubes or lip pots.
This lipstick has a fantastic feel similar to lip balm, and the color will show on your lips. It has great staying power and doesn't feel heavy or greasy.

Okay, well, When you're putting on your lipstick use your index finger to apply it. This way you use less and the lipstick stays on longer because it can absorb. this does make it more of a lip stain but it works well. About the lip gloss, i am not sure what to tell you. they are products that you can apply for longer lasting make-up buut i can recall where to find them How can I make my lipstick and my lip gloss stay on longer?
Beauty Control (a makeup band name) has out a cream that you lightly put on you lips and wait a few minutes then apply you lipstick like you usually do. My mom uses it and say it even lasts through eating dinner. I use Merle Norman and their lipstick last longer than any other band that I have tried. Hope this helps :)
Don't buy any and I am not saying that to give you a stupid answer. I do not like lipstick on women unless you are going out to a fancy dinner. It has a funny taste so when you get kissed, the guy is going yuck and you are enjoying it. Why would you want lipstick to stay longer unless you want no one kissing you?
try a top coat of sephora's new Lip Last, it is a clear product used to make ANY lip gloss or lipstick long-wear. Ive heard it works really well- it can be purchased at sephora or at sephora.com and it runs about $14.
If your looking for a product you may want to try MAC's pro long wear which is $20, or cover girl outlast double lipshine which is around $10.

What you can do is but chapstick on first, then put on a light lipstick and top it off with a little lip gloss. That way if the lipgloss starts to come off you still get that other coat of lipstick, but dont put on too much or it will be super glossy
i have the victoria's secret lip balm and it stays on all day. i love it and it makes my lips look fuller and my lips shine from all the gloss

Everytime I wear any lipstick or lip balm it always makes my teeth hurt. I know that it sounds wierd but it is ture. When I was in Middle school, I used to pick my face a lot. I was really made fun of. So I used to pick them all the time to make them go away. Pick a shade that is a nude pinkish shade. Use you natural undertones to find the right shade i.e. if you have pink under tone go towars a pinknude if you have golden undertones go for a nude gold
make sure you dont have dry lips so use a lip balm. then when they are ok try using a lipstick that doesnt havr a lot of shine to it xx

Get a nice lip liner pencil a bit darker than the colour of your lips. Follow your lip line with the pencil as if you are making a border, not too thick. Take your lipstick, open your lips a bit as if you are going to bite something and apply the lipstick from the inside to the outside surface of your lips, apply it in a circular movement opening your lips, don't forget the sides a circle is a circle so the lipstick has to cover the whole surface of your mouth/lips. Any colour would do, try it and you will see the difference.
There are new products (creams) that you can use to thicken your lips as well, but use the method I told you about combine it with the cream and you will be amazed with the difference.
I have two different suggestions one is using a lip plumper and lip stick and the other is iseing traditional lip liner lipstick and lip gloss

There is a product that maybelline has called Maybelline Volume XL lip seduction Lip Plumper and it plumps your lips and comes in ten shades! They even have it in red wou would want to buy the product try it out and if the color is not dark enough buy a matching red lip stick.

If you dont like this product invest in a red lip gloss, red lipstick and red lip liner if you get them all by the same company they will match better. trace your upper lip just outside of yur natural lip line (so lip will be fuller (you can do the bottom too if you want)) in the red liner then fillin with the red lip stick and then put on the red lip gloss
